Anu Aun and her TFL Training 2008 feature project THE POLAR BOY were also awarded a 4-month Nipkow fellowship in 2009 to continue developing her script in Berlin with her former Script&Pitch tutor Franz Rodenkirchen.
The development of the script of THE POLAR BOY has also been supported by Estonian Film Foundation, Estonian Cultural Endowment, Media Desk Estonia. In autumn 2009 Anu Aun was given the production funding by Estonian Film Foundation for her new short film Shift, which will be produced by Margo Siimon and Laura Talvet from Luxfilm; shooting is planned for January 2010.
