After a Mass Communication degree in 2004, he started working at ITC Movie a leading production company based in Bologna, Italy specialized in the production of feature films, commercials and TV formats. At ITC Alessandro worked as production assistant and assistant producer on several feature films, commercials and documentaries.
In 2008, he started collaborating with Kiné launching the new documentary department and developing and producing several one-offs documentaries distributed in Italy and internationally. Always in 2008, he attended the training program for European producers Eurodoc.
In 2012, he represented Italy at Emerging Producers a workshop organized by MEDIA and Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival. In 2013, he consulted for the Ballandi Media group to launch internationally the new branch Ballandi Arts, devoted to the production of documentary one-offs and series focusing on the field of arts.
Most of the projects he produced were developed with the support of MEDIA. In 2014, he developed a slate of projects awarded with Media support for Turin based company, EiE film.
In January 2015, together with two partners, Alessandro took over the EiE film becoming head of devel¬opment of creative documentaries and fiction within the new multimedia company.
Alessandro is an EAVE and Eurodoc alumni and member of EDN, Doc/it and APT.
