Biography

He was born in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) in 1974. He studied acting in several theatrical centres there. He travels to Madrid to study cinema at the Complutense University. In 1996 he writes and directs his first short film (35 mm.) "CORDEROS DE DIOS" (“Lambs of God”), selected by the Montreal International Film Festival , Official Competition Section. In 2001 he shots his second short film, “EDUARDO PELÁEZ” (Sao Paolo. Los Angeles, Rotterdam…), and one year later he shots the musical movie “MELODÍAS TÓXICAS” (“Toxic Melodies”) (60 festivals; 17 awards). “ENCUENTRO” (“Encounter”) (2009) is his fourth short film as director (55 festivals -Monaco, Palm Springs, Miami…-, 11 awards including Best World Cinema Short in the Indianapolis Int. Film Festival, USA. He has been teaching Cinematography Direction in the Complutense University, in Madrid. In 2017 he creates his own Media School, Makkers School. He has worked all these years in advertising as Production Manager, Assistant Director and as Director too. He is member of the European Film Academy (EFA)
