Biography
Andris Feldmanis was born in Tallinn Estonia in 1982. He has a degree in history and has worked as a journalist and a film critic. He has been writing for TV since 2006 for several successful local TV-series. His first feature film "Pretenders" premiered in 2016 at San Sebastian International Film Festival. His debut novel "The Last Thousand Years" won the Betti Alver Literary Award for the best debut fiction of the year. He is mainly working with his partner & co-writer Livia Ulman.
