Biography

After studying law and art history, Christophe Audeguis began his career in 1991 with Europa Cinemas. In 1993, he joined the CNC (French Centre National du Cinéma) in the department of support of production and distribution of feature films. From 1998 to 2003, he was executive producer at Ciné b. With Philippe Carcassonne, he collaborated to several productions such as : Anne Fontaine’s My father and I, Jacques Audiard’s Read my lips, Patrice Leconte’s The fun of the fair, Love Street and Man on the train. In 2005, as a partner at Bliss he produced Johannes Stjärne Nilsson and Ola Simonsson’s Sound of Noise (Cannes Film Festival, Semaine de la critique, Young Critics Award and the Grand Rail d'Or, 2010). He coproduced also Tariq Teguia’s Inland (65th Mostra, Orizzonti, 2008). In 2010, he joined Love Streams agnès b. Productions as producer for 4 years and his productions or coproductions include agnès b.’s My name is hmmm... (70th Mostra, Orizzonti - New York Film Festival – Abu Dhabi Film Festival , 2013) ;The Good Life by Jean Denizot (70th Mostra, Venice Days, Europa Cinemas award, 2013) ; Bends by Flora Lau (66th Cannes Film Festival, Un Certain Regard and Toronto Film Festival, 2013) ; Kids of Today of Jerome de Missolz (Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight, 2011) ; Walk Away Renee by Jonathan Caouette (Cannes Film Festival, Semaine de la Critique, 2011) ; K364, A Journey By Train, by Douglas Gordon (67th Mostra, Orizzonti, 2010). He co-managed the collection « agnès b. dvd / Potemkine » which has already released more than 70 titles on DVD or Blu-Ray. Among great classics and top-notch novelties, stand out Vincent Gallo's Brown Bunny, an Alan Clarke's Boxset, Lars Von Trier's, Leos Carax's Holy Motors, a 30 DVD & Blu-Ray Boxset with the entire works of Nouvelle Vague’s French pioneer Eric Rohmer. He created in 2014 the cup of tea, his own film production company based in Paris.
