Graduated in Arts and Communication from Liège University, Joseph Rouschop created Tarantula Belgique at the end of the Nineties, his driving force being the urge to defend the sincerity and the dreams of the artists he works with. He produces his first documentaries and short films with the ever-present desire to place the human being in the middle of those works, dealing with strong and meaningful themes. Tarantula has been contributing to the dynamism of Belgian audiovisual production since 2002. Furthermore, it encourages a cinema that looks beyond boundaries; indeed, this company is also known for his co-productions with Mexico, Canada, Palestine and Taiwan. Today, Tarantula has a total of six permanent members employing all their energy to support the diversity and the increasing number of the works, from the idea to the release in the cinemas.
