Ruth Mellaerts studied Languages and Literature at the university of Leuven and Screenwriting at the Brussels filmschool RITCS. She works as a screenwriter for fiction films and television series. Together with Boris Kuijpers she directed two award winning short films. She published a book with short stories and teaches writing at RITCS and Luca School of Arts in Brussels.
