The aim of Green Production Lab is to train European sustainability professionals to work in the audiovisual sector and producers or crew members who will coordinate the implementation of the sustainability strategy on how to implement green practices on set. Together they will set up a full sustainability plan for a concrete project close to the production stage.
The programme is addressed to:
- Up to 12 European professionals coming from the world of sustainability, interested in exploring the possibilities of collaboration with the film one and becoming Sustainability Consultants for the audiovisual sector.
- 3 teams of European producer & a crew member (e.g. line producer, production coordinator...) with a project at pre-production stage (6 to 3 months to the shooting) and interested in integrating green practices on their sets, understanding how to work with sustainability consultants, enhancing their professional profile by acquiring new skills.
Green Production Lab proposes preparatory online sessions followed by one 5-day residential workshop.
During the preparatory online sessions film professionals will work on how to engage the crew in sustainability, while the sustainability professionals will be introduced to the specificities of a film production.
All participants will meet in person during the 5-day residential workshop that will be a combination of plenary sessions and group works. Every group will be composed by 4 sustainability professionals who will work with the producer and the crew member (e.g. line producer, production coordinator...) to create a full sustainability plan for the project.
Afterwards, the sustainability professionals will rework the materials and meet again for an online follow-up and feedback session.
