Biography

Dominga Ortuzar is BA in Aesthetics and graduated from the Atelier Ludwigsburg Paris in 2018, in La Fémis. She started in the film industry as Head of Production of CinemaChile over 3 years, in charge of managing the delegations of directors and producers in the main film markets worldwide. In 2015 she joins the Ministry of Culture as Director of National Programs of the Audiovisual Fund. A the end of 2016, she leads the project of the National Network of Independent Cinemas, and in 2017 she wins the National Audiovisual Fund Scholarship to be part of the Atelier Ludwigsburg Paris 17-18. In 2017, she co founds Oro Films, a company that focuses on cutting edge and female-led content. The company has produced several works, among those Agustina San Martin's debut film "To kill the beast", premiéred in Toronto International Film Festival and "Ferns" by Paz Ramírez premiéred in Tribeca Film Festival. She has also been part of Berlinale Talents 2019, Jury in Berlinale Talents 2020, and currently takes care of the of the Market Studio at Talents.
