She was born in 1982 and in 2005 she graduated in Communication Science at Bologna University. In 2008 she
completed a specialization cum laude at Economics School - Graduate degree in Innovation and Organization of Culture and Arts, and the same year she founded an independent production company, Articolture, of which she is the legal representative alongside Ivan Olgiati.
Together, they strengthened the film branch of the company from the self-production of short films to international co-productions of features and documentaries, distributed locally and abroad. Among many cultural projects she designed and produced, she love maximizing the social impact of filmmaking and ‘hybridizing’ Articolture’s products, halfway between fiction and documentary. Articolture's latest production, "The Lamb" by Mario Piredda – an emerging director winner of the best short-movie award at the David di Donatello in 2017 for "At home" – has just finished its release in theaters. The film is an Italian-French co-production, it premiered at the Rome Film Fest
- Alice nella Città official selection 2019 and won Annecy Festival 2020 (other official selections at Istanbul, Moscow, Denver). In 2018 she produced "Zen in the ice rift" by Margherita Ferri, the Italian project supported by the Biennale College Cinema 2017/18, premiered at the Mostra del Cinema di Venezia 2018 and shortlisted as the best emerging director at Nastri d’Argento. This micro-budget film, produced in less than
one year in the exciting framework of the Biennale College, has been distributed worldwide by Medialuna, received an honorable mention at FRAMELINE (San Francisco), a conspicuous prize at BUFF Film Festival
(Malmö), the final five Nastri d’Argento as best emerging director, and its protagonist, Eleonora Conti, has
been bestowed the Best emerging Italian talent award for NuovoIMAIE.
The same week she delivered the picture-lock of Zen to Biennale College, she also delivered her first baby, Matilde Futura.
In 2018 she produced two short-films by Vito Palmieri: the short-doc "Da Teletorre19 è tutto!" and "The worldcup in a square" a short movie that won MigrArti, an important call by the Italian Ministry for supporting the social integration of migrants. The short has been premiered at the Mostra del Cinema di Venezia 2018 and selected in more than fifty festivals worldwide, it got the Final five at Nastri d’Argento and Globi d’Oro 2019 and it has been awarded as the best Italian short-film 2019 by FEDIC, the Italian federation of Italian
Arthouse Cinemas. Articolture’s first feature film, "The Asteroids" by Germano Maccioni, premiered in Locarno 2017 – official selection. At that time, she was in charge of its development and communication strategies and she attended
the MAIA Workshop with the project.
In parallel with the film-industry business, she carries on in-depth studies about cultural economics and cultural innovation politics, collaborating with many public and private institutions, as speaker and author. In 2017 she was adjunct professor (Project management for arts organizations) at Bologna University. Since January 2015, she has been a member of the Board of Directors at Fondazione Teatro Comunale – Opera House in Bologna, her hometown.
