Coline Confort is a writer and director based in Lausanne, Switzerland. They hold a Bachelor in filmmaking at ECAL, Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne. Their diploma film “Imperial” was presented at several festivals (Locarno FF, Palm Springs ShortFest, Fipadoc, Angers Premiers Plans...), won the prize for the best school film at Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and was nominated in the category Best Graduation Film at the Swiss Film Prize 2022. Since then, they directed three short films (“10 Missed Calls”, “Scales Fell From Their Eyes”, “A Neutral Film”) and a feature documentary, “The Acrobat Life”. They are a member of Artist Collective Revolta. Their work is based on a documentary approach, creating moments of truth and mise-en-scène, always starting from a long research work.
