Biography
Born in 1998 in Grenoble, France, and currently based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Coline Confort graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in cinema, from the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL) in 2020. Their graduation film, Imperial, screened at numerous festivals and won the Best Swiss School Film award at the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur 2021. The Acrobat Life (2023) is their first feature-lenght documentary. Coline has participated in the Locarno Filmmaker Academy and the Locarno Residency, where they recently received an award for the script Josie Goes to War.
