Oleksii is an internationally awarded Ukrainian film and commercial director who started his career in advertising. He is a global citizen who has lived in major cosmopolitan cities, from Kyiv to London and New York. As a creative producer, Oleksii participated in the 1968.DIGITAL project, a documentary series that recaps major events that happened that year. In 2018 BuzzFeed News premiered 1968.DIGITAL. The Apple News launch was part of a deal in which Apple paid BuzzFeed for the first-window rights. In 2020, as a scriptwriter and creative producer, he worked with R#J, an American experimental romantic drama. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021. R#J was nominated and won a special prize at the prestigious SXSW Awards the same year. In 2024, he became a participant of Torino ComedyLab.
