Eric Mabillon

After a diploma of Sciences Po. Paris (a business and politics science school), master degrees in business law as well as in management of cultural institutions, eric mabillon used to manage Les Films du Paradoxe (a French independent distribution and publishing company) during five first years. During the following five years, he was head of legal and business affairs of French major arthouse production (Paradis Films, Celluloid Dreams Production), distribution (Océan Films) and sales (Celluloid Dreams) companies.   Since spring 2006, he is a free-lance consultant in charge of legal and business affairs including financing of feature films - and from time to time of acquisitions - on account of various arthouse production, distribution and sales companies such as Coproduction Office/Société Parisienne de Production (FR/GER/DK), Le Pacte (FR), Love Streams agnès b. Productions (FR), Méroé Films (FR), Mido Productions (FR), Roma Films (ITA), Red Lion (LUX), Rouge International (FR), Sosho Productions (UK), Urban Media International (FR) or Vitakuben (GER, NOR) and VOD platforms (UniversCiné).   He launched in 2010 with Lucas Rosant and Denis Vaslin Mandra Films, a newly founded French production and consulting company. With a wide and strong network and expertise in terms of international coproductions, Mandra Films is dedicated to challenging territories and compelling stories, from both emerging talents as well as more established directors. This company produces documentaries and feature films as well as services in terms of international financing and development strategies.
