Biography
Born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1958. In 1982 graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Cinema ( film and TV directing). From 1982 to 1990 worked as assistant director for documentaries and fiction films; director of several documentary short films. Specialized in film production in London, UK (1995, British Council scholarship) and in Berlin (1997-98, NIPKOW Program scholarship). Founded a production company, KLAS Film in 1995. Member of EFA since 2002; member of various selection and festival juries including Sofia FF, Karlovy Vary IFF, Cyprus Film Days.
