Biography

Alumni of the Tisch School of the Arts/ New York University, Judith Nora started her career in New York at MIRAMAX FILMS. In 2004, she produced "Torn Skin" (La Peau Trouée) by French director Julien Samani, winner of 5 international prizes for Best Documentary and released in theaters the same year. From 2005 to 2009, she headed the production division at AD VITAM where she produced "Sangre" by Mexican director Amat Escalante, winner of the 2005 Fipresci prize at the Cannes Film Festival, "To Die Like a Man" by Portuguese director Joao Pedro Rodrigues, nominated at Un Certain Regard at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, "Plein Sud" by Sébastien Lifshitz (Berlinale 2009) and "An American journey, in Robert Frank’s footsteps", by Philippe Séclier, released in 2009 in the U.S. In 2009 she co-founded a production company, Silex Films, with Priscilla Bertin and Elisa Larriere.
