Lorenzo Bagnatori studied at the National School of Cinema, the Cinematography Experimental Centre in Rome, where he attained a degree in screenplay during the 2015/2017 period. In 2016 he won with Alessandro Padovani the Vincenzoni Award for the best script, with the work Donne di gesso and, in the same year, he also won the Bolognini prize for the script of I bambini del mare – adaptation of the Fabio Genovesi’s novel Versilia Rock city. In 2017, he won the Mattador the prize for the best screenplay development. He wrote the short films Fine d'Estate by Paolo Strippoli and the short film Anne by Domenico Croce and Stefano Malchiodi, produced by 10D Film and Anemone Film. Many of these works have taken part in important national and international festivals. In the documentary field, he has written the film treatments of Al mugello non si dorme by Marta Innocenti for Echivisivi and Io siamo noi by Michele Leonardi for Magnitudo Film. Both documentaries are in pre-production. He won the SIAE-CSC scholarship for writing the scripts of the series Acta Planctarum together with Milo Tissone. He is also working as a junior writer in the developing series La guerra è finita, produced by Palomar for Rai and in the series Oltre la soglia, produced by Paypermoon for Mediaset. He is, finally, collaborating in Fuoco sacro, a format produced by Echivisivi.
