Dario is the father of a young boy living with cerebral palsy whose severe cognitive and motor disabilities, together with visual impairment, place increasing strain on the family.
As Dario develops a stronger emotional bond with his nephew than with his own son, he gradually slips into the role of the father he wishes he could have been. What begins as an emotional refuge evolves into a dangerous emotional displacement that threatens to tear the entire family apart.
