The one and only co-production market organised by TorinoFilmLab

Now in its 19th edition, the TFL Meeting Event continues to stand as a vibrant hub where stories in development meet the professionals who can bring them to life.

This invitation-only gathering offers a dynamic blend of feature films and TV series projects from across the globe, alongside industry experts ready to foster meaningful collaborations and lasting connections - right in the heart of Turin.

The TFL Meeting Event represents the culmination of TorinoFilmLab’s annual activities, bringing together projects developed within ScriptLab, FeatureLab, ComedyLab, and SeriesLab, as well as professionals trained through the Story Editing programmes focused on both TV series and feature films. It also includes participants from the short-term workshop Boost IT Lab and the projects awarded the TFL Co-Production Fund 2026.

Around 50 carefully selected projects and over 350 international professionals - including participants and invited market guests - will take part in this intensive three-day market.

The event unfolds over three days of presentations, networking, and tailored one-to-one meetings. It opens on Thursday afternoon with the first pitching sessions, followed by the traditional Welcome Cocktail. On Friday, the programme continues with further project presentations and individual meetings, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with potential partners. The event reaches its peak on Saturday evening, when, after the final round of pitches and meetings, the Awards Ceremony celebrates the projects and talents recognised by the juries for their outstanding potential, supporting them in taking their next steps.

A unique space where creativity, industry, and opportunity converge, the TFL Meeting Event remains a key rendezvous for the international audiovisual community.

SCRIPTLAB & STORY EDITING - 16 in essence feature film projects & 4 Story Editor trainees
This long-standing programme focuses on fiction feature films—both original ideas and adaptations—at an early stage of development. The projects are developed by experienced and emerging filmmakers from around the world, working side by side with Story Editor trainees.
In partnership with Film Fund Luxembourg, Tartu Film Fund and Estonian Film Institute.

FEATURELAB - 10 advanced feature film scripts
The path supporting first and second feature films by creative teams of writer/directors and producers. It delves into both artistic and creative aspects, alongside production and promotion strategies.
In partnership with German Films.

COMEDYLAB - 4 comedy scripts crafted for worldwide audience & 4 comedy writers/performers
A unique concept that brings together talented writers with projects to work on and comedy writers/performers without projects to create a fusion of expertise and comedic brilliance.
In partnership with VAF - Flanders Audiovisual Fund and with Polish Film Institute. Media partner CinecittàNews.

SERIESLAB & SERIESLAB STORY EDITING - 9 original tv series projects & 3 Story Editing trainees
Innovative, marketable, international fiction TV series to be presented, after a 9-month training course, by creative teams from Europe or by international teams working on a project with potential of European co-production, accompanied by story editor trainees.
In partnership with Polish Film Institute and with VAF - Flanders Audiovisual Fund.

BOOST IT LAB - 8 Italian and international projects boosting their co-production potential
Workshop created to enhance the skills of producers and directors on Italian territory and to build cooperation opportunities for international productions and institutions interested in collaborating with the country.
In partnership with ECAM, FCVDA - Fondazione Film Commission Vallée d'Aoste, Toscana Film Commission, Veneto Film Commission, CNA Emilia Romagna and with the collaboration of ANICA, AGICI and Italian Film Commissions.

TFL FUNDS – the projects awarded with the TFL Co-Production Fund 2026
The three projects awarded with a € 50,000 production grant, combined with tailored consultancies, to support co-productions between European producers and international co-producers - will have the chance to find additional partners thanks to networking moments and one-on-one meetings.

In November, international jurors and partners will support the TFL projects by awarding different prizes:

- The TFL AWARDS: Production Awards to the FeatureLab projects, SeriesLab Development Awards and ComedyLab Award. 

- The GREEN AWARDS: established to promote a more sustainable way of writing and making cinema. The Green Filming Awards will be assigned to the FeatureLab projects, the White Mirror will be given to a ScriptLab project. 

- The PARTNERS' AWARDS: numerous prestigious audiovisual institutions support the further development of the projects.

The Awards Ceremony will be held in the evening of Saturday 28th November.
