TFL Co-Production Fund
The TFL Co-Production Fund supports co-productions between European producers and international co-producers.
€ 50,000 co-production grant combined with a series of tailor-made consultancies with experts in various fields of filmmaking.
TARGET: Open to feature films (fiction, creative documentaries, animation, over 60 minutes) in advanced development stage. The TFL Co-Production Fund is addressed to producers established in a country participating in the MEDIA strand presenting projects co-produced with at least one partner from a country not participating in the MEDIA strand.
The TFL Co-Production Fund aims at supporting co-productions between European producers and international co-producers through a grant of € 50,000 assigned to the European producer of the film. It is reserved to co-productions between producers established in a country participating in the MEDIA strand working with co-producers from a country not participating in the MEDIA strand.
In addition to the monetary grant, the selected projects will receive tailored made consultancies with various experts internationally experienced in the main areas of filmmaking. The consultancies will be decided in conversation with the film team, according to their needs at the time of selection.
On top of the individual consultations, the project will have the opportunity to participate to the TFL Meeting Event, taking place every November in Torino, Italy. TFL’s co-production forum is an important occasion to find new partners thanks to networking moments and one-on-one meetings. The TFL Meeting Event is attended every year by over 200 European and international professionals (producers, distributors, sales agents, film festival representatives and broadcasters) and all the projects participating in the forum are granted visibility thanks to the TFL Catalogue.
The TFL Fund was created in 2014 thanks to the Creative Europe – MEDIA sub-programme support to International Co-production Funds. TFL Co-Production Fund is supported by Creative Europe - MEDIA Programme of the European Union.
