OPEN CALLS & SELECTIONS

TFL Co-Production Fund 2022: the call for applications is open!

TorinoFilmLab doesn’t mean exclusively training opportunities - as you are well aware - since we’ve always strived to financially support international talents and their stories.

One way to do that is through the TFL Co-Production Fund targeting co-productions between European and international producers.

More specifically, the fund is focused on experienced directors, developing their 3rd feature film project onward, and it’s open to feature films - whether is fiction, animation or documentaries.

To give you an overview, the fund has been earmarked in 2019 to THE SKY IS MINE by Deepak Rauniyar, in 2020 to the hybrid documentary CHOCOBAR by Lucrecia Martel and in 2021 to PUÁN by Mari´a Alche´ & Benjami´n Naishtat. You can discover the projects on the linked dedicated pages!

What makes it special is that together with a co-production grant of € 50,000 (allocated to the European production company) the selected project will receive tailored-made consultancies with various trainers - internationally experienced in the main areas of filmmaking - that will be chosen according to the film needs; the sessions will be held between September and December 2022.

The icing on the cake? The project will have the chance to join the TFL Meeting Event in November 2022, our co-production forum attended every year by a wide number of carefully selected industry professionals.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 24th March 2022
For any doubts feel free to contact: greta.fornari@torinofilmlab.it

Last but not least, the applicant must be a producer based in one of the countries participating in the MEDIA Sub-programme (check the call for further details).

The Fund has been created thanks to the Creative Europe – MEDIA sub-programme support to International Co-production Funds.
