The 8 projects – selected from 61 applications received from 24 countries – will follow a programme focused on broadening their knowledge of co-production, enabling them to navigate international contexts with confidence. Boost IT Lab will start with intensive online sessions from 8th to 14th October, followed by residential sessions in Turin, from 23rd to 26th November. Leading the pedagogical team, made up by 9 tutors with international experience, the Head of Studies Francesco Giai Via.
The participants will work on their screenplays with Jérémie Dubois and Chiara Laudani; explore the various aspects of the delicate production stage with Eilon Ratzkovsky and Nadia Trevisan; and examine sustainable approaches to production with Dörte Schneider Garcia. Sales strategies will be the focus of sessions with Marcin Luczaj, while audience design sessions will be led by Greta Nordio. Moreover, they will prepare to present their projects with the pitching trainer Bonnie Williams, and they will learn about all the legal aspects thanks to the consultant Elisa Vittone.
As first introduced last year, the selected alumni and alumnae will conclude their training at the TFL Meeting Event, TorinoFilmLab’s co-production market – now in its 19th edition – which will take place in Turin on 26th, 27th and 28th November 2026. There, they will have the opportunity to present their projects to audiovisual professionals from around the world and build connections with the Italian and international industry.
