Isabell Wiegand studied Cultural Management specializing in Film Studies at the Sorbonne University in Paris and obtained a master in Management of the Arts in 2003. She worked for several film festivals and at the Forum des images in Paris. Later on, she moved to Berlin and started working for Coproduction Office/Essential Filmproduktion in the production and in the servicing department. In 2006, she joined the Paris wing of Coproduction Office and created the marketing department of the sales company, which she led for 2 years. She followed as a line producer and executive producer international coproductions such as YOU, THE LIVING by Roy Andersson, IMPORT EXPORT by Ulrich Seidl, WOMEN WITHOUT MEN by Shirin Neshat and LOURDES by Jessica Hausner. From 2007 on, she also acted as financial manager of the French sales and production company.
