Biography

Natasha Markou was born in the island of Evia, Greece. She moved to the UK to study English and Spanish Literature, Creative Media Production and a Postgraduate Degree in Screenwriting. Since 2017, she has produced films and TV, such as A Mouthful of Air by Amy Koppelman, Lead Belly by Sean Glynn, Beacon Hill by Albert Alarr, Upont The Edge by Timothy Reynard, 34 Seconds by Adam Markle, Boris Karloff by Thomas Hamilton, Blank by Natalie Kennedy, AV: The Hunt by Emre Akay, The Race to Alaska by Zach Carver, Swamp Lion by Torben Berch and Killbird by Joe Zanetti. In addition to producing, Natasha writes for film and TV. She’s got her first Sci-Fi TV Series, Star Quest, and directorial debut feature, Geia sou Mama!, in development. Her projects have been supported by European talent incubators such as Torino Film Lab, EFM, Cannes Producers Network, European Script Meeting, ScreenSkills UK, and Brussels Co-Production Forum.
