Dorota Lech is a film curator, writer, and script consultant. Since 2013 she has worked for the Toronto International Film Festival, where she is the lead of the Discovery Programme and selects films from Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, Turkey, and Iran. Dorota has contributed to Vanity Fair, MUBI Notebook, and Film Quarterly. She is a guest lecturer in Harvard's Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies, the Łódź Film School, NYU, as well as the University of Toronto's Department of Arts, Media, Culture, and has curated screenings for the Museo Reina Sofia, the Filmoteca Española, the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, and the Museum of the Moving Image in New York. She was named a Future Leader in Film Programming Curation by Screen International in 2024.
