Feyrouz Serhal is a director whose work is marked by solid storytelling and strong poetic images.
She acquired her Master’s degree in Film and Screen Studies at Goldsmiths College University of London in 2009, after having worked extensively as director and a creative producer at some of the most prominent Arab TV channels in the Middle East.
Feyrouz has written and directed several independent short video works, her last short narrative film TSHWEESH won the film prize of Robert Bosch Stiftung during Berlinale 2016 and was premiered in the prestigious Locarno Film Festival in 2017. TSHWEESH has screened in more than 50 festivals around the world and won a dozen of prizes so far. Serhal is now in the late stage development on I AM HERE BUT YOU CAN'T SEE ME her first feature narrative film as a writer/ director, the feature film was launched in Cannes Film Festival in 2018 where it was chosen to take part of Cinephilia Bound.
