Janna is an award-winning filmmaker with 10 years experience working in Film & TV in Ireland, UK & Germany. Her latest short, Shadow, premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh. It went on to screen internationally winning numerous awards including a Special Mention at DIFF and Best Cinematography at FastNetFF 2023. Janna’s work concentrates on the dynamics between people, social structures, and the interplay between the real and surreal. She has a unique and multidisciplinary vision through having worked in film, photography, theater and dance. Janna also directs Ireland's longest-running TV series Fair City and BBC’s EastEnders
