Biography
Rand Abou-Fakher is a Syrian Filmmaker, She studied as a flutist at the Syrian Conservatory, broadening her practice in Brussels to audiovisual arts. Today, she works as a director, theatre actor, (art) project manager, and a programmer. Her debut short film Braided Love (2018) premiered at Sarajevo Film Festival and second short So We Live (2020) premiered in Berlinale Int film festival and have been shown at festivals and museums worldwide. In the process, So We Live won Oscar Qualifying Awards.
