Lun Sevnik (1992) is a film director and scriptwriter from Ljubljana, Slovenia. He recently completed his studies at the Film Directing department of the Prague Film Academy (FAMU). His student film "Playing" (2019) premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and the San Sebastian Film Festival and had a successful festival run: BogoShorts, PragueShorts, Wiz-Art, BrusselsShorts, etc. His graduation film, "The Sea In Between" (2024, LightsOn), produced by Rok Biček (Cvinger/SI), is currently screening at European short film festivals (Tallinn Black Nights FF, Odense IFF, Poitiers FF...) Alongside Rok Biček and his longtime friend and screenwriter Atila Urbančič, he is developing his debut feature film, "The Healers", at Torino ScriptLab 2024.
