Norah Mc Gettigan is a writer, director and script consultant. She has an MA in film directing from the Polish National Film School, where she now teaches screenwriting. She is a freelance script consultant, collaborating with Atelier Scenariuszowe and the Andrzej Wajda Studio. Her shorts A Song for Rebecca and The Water Fight were officially selected for the Cinéfondation competition at Cannes IFF. Her short, What It’s Like to Be My Mother won awards worldwide. Her debut feature Sanctuary was nominated for best film at the 2013 BIFA’s and for best actress (Anne-Marie Duff) at the 2013 IFTA’s. She is currently developing two features.
