Sarieke Hoeksma (1989) completed her Master’s degree in Film Studies at the University of Amsterdam in 2015, with a specialisation in dramaturgy, gender studies and philosophy. Her studies included a semester at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, where she took courses on inclusivity and representation in media.
