Born in Gragnano, near Naples, Marianna graduated in Economics and Commerce at the University of Naples "Parthenope" in 2019, and then moved to Venice for complete her studies with a Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities at Ca’ Foscari University. Since 2022, she start working at La Biennale di Venezia, for the Venice Production Bridge (VPB) within the Venice International Film Festival, where she primarily works on the Book Adaptation Rights Market and Meet the Streamer projects. Between 2022 and 2023, she also gained experience in event organization by working with an event agency in Venice and she later coordinated the Fundraising team for the Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival. Since 2025, she has been collaborating with When East Meets West (WEMW) as coordinator of the Films x Games Connection Hub project, and with TorinoFilmLab (TFL) as Project Manager for the Co-Production Fund and the Audience Design Fund.
