Benjamin Domenech (Buenos Aires, 1986) creates Rei Cine in 2010 in order to provide a creative platform for groundbreaking filmmakers. His credits as producer include: INTRODUZIONE ALL’OSCURO (2018, Gastón Solnicki), THE ACCUSED (2018, Gonzalo Tobal), THE QUEEN OF FEAR (2018, Valeria Bertuccelli & Fabiana Tiscornia), ZAMA (2017, dir. Lucrecia Martel), HUNTING SEASON (2017, Natalia Garagiola), LIGHT YEARS (2017, Manuel Abramovich), THE THEATRE OF DISAPPEARANCE (2017, Adrián Villar Rojas), HISTORY OF FEAR (2014, Benjamin Naishtat), LEONES (2012, Jazmín López), THURSDAY TILL SUNDAY (2012, Dominga Sotomayor), VILLEGAS (2012, Gonzalo Tobal); and as co-producer: HOLY BEASTS (2019, Laura Guzmán & Israel Cárdenas), LOS PERROS (2017, Marcela Said), MADLY (2016, Gael García Bernal), KILL ME PLEASE (2015, Anita Rocha da Silveira), SAND DOLLARS (2014, Laura Guzmán & Israel Cárdenas), CARMITA (2013, Laura Guzmán & Israel Cárdenas); all of which were distributed worldwide and premiered at festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto, Rotterdam or Locarno, amongst others. Benjamin is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts (AMPAS), EAVE, IFP Marcie Bloom Fellowship, and the National Film Academy in Argentina. He has also participated in juries at several international film festivals.
