Biography

After graduating from ESSEC International Business School and the French film school La Fémis, Jean-Christophe Reymond founded Kazak Productions in 2007. He was joined by Amaury Ovise, and in ten years they have produced more than 45 short films and ten feature films: Price of Success (Toronto Special Presentation 2017, San Sebastian) and Jimmy Rivière by Teddy Lussi-Modeste, Corporate (Karlovy Vary) by Nicolas Silhol, Wakhan Front by Clement Cogitore (in competition in the Cannes Critics’ Week 2015, New Film New Directors), Sophia Antipolis (Locarno / San Sebastian 2018) and Mercuriales by Virgil Vernier (ACID selection at Cannes 2014), A Taste of Ink by Morgan Simon (San Sebastian New Directors) and Fool Circle by Vincent Mariette. Roads by Sebastian Schipper and les Fauves by Vincent Mariette are now in post-production and 5 projects are in development, including new projects by Clement Cogitore and Julia Ducournau (Raw). Our ambition is to accompany directors on their films and throughout their careers. Jean-Christophe Reymond is a member of the ACE network. He was elected Procirep Young Producer of the Year 2010.
