Meiske Taurisia, Jakarta, Indonesia. She studied Architecture, Textile Design, and Fashion Strategy prior to working in the film industry. Currently she is studying Public Policy (ME). In 2008 she co-founded babibutafilm. She produced BLIND PIG WHO WANTS TO FLY (2008) Fipresci Award; POSTCARDS FROM THE ZOO (2012) in competition at Berlinale; ROCKET RAIN (2013) in competition at Forum Independent-Karlovy Vary; THE FOX EXPLOITS THE TIGER'S MIGHT (2015, short) in competition at Semaine de la Critique-Cannes; and recently CUTS (2016, documentary) at Panorama IDFA. In 2016, she founded Palari Films together with film producer Muhammad Zaidy, who produced ATHIRAH (2016) Best Film at Festival Film Indonesia.
