Yorgos Tsourgiannis is an independent film producer and the founder and managing director of the Athens based label HORSEFLY FILMS. He is currently working on the debut feature of Greek-German filmmaker Efthimis KOSEMUND SANIDIS, "THAT BURNING LIGHT" and Emin ALPER’S fourth feature film BALKAYA among others. He has recently completed the upcoming feature film of writer/director Michalis KONSTANTATOS, ALL THE PRETTY LITTLE HORSES, a Greece-Belgium-Germany co-production. His credits include: Emin ALPER’S A TALE OF THREE SISTERS (2019, International Competition Berlin IFF), NORWAY by Yiannis VESLEMES (2014, Karlovy Vary, Fantastic Fest), LUTON by Michalis KONSTANTATOS (2013, San Sebastian IFF), DOGTOOTH by Yorgos LANTHIMOS (2009, Cannes IFF). Yorgos Tsourgiannis has been teaching since 2017, Feature Film Development at the School of Film Studies of the Fine Arts Department of the Thessaloniki Aristotle University and since 2012 the Film Production Module for the SAE School of Athens Bachelor in Digital Film Production. He has been a member of the ACE network of Producers since 2010, a member of the board of Hellenic Film Academy and a member of European Film Academy.
