Michel started his career as a filmmusic composer. He studied musicology, and did additional courses choir-direction and public relations. As a logical result of his fascination for music, film and good sound he got involved in sound-design and film mixing. During the last 20 years he designed, edited and mixed dozens of documentaries, art-films and features for TV and cinema. He was also producer for several CD recordings and directed two music-documentaries. Currently he is still working as sound-designer, dubbing mixer, composer and music-supervisor. As a result of his overall experience he works as film-, music- and post-production consultant. He is teacher at the Dutch Film Academy.
