Ola Jankowska



Aleksandra, known by most as Ola, is a Poland-born writer and director based in Berlin and working internationally. Her first feature fiction film 'Anatomia' (Poland, France) premiered at Venice Days in 2021. Her first feature documentary "I Was Here" (UK, Denmark, Poland) co-directed with Nathalie Biancheri premiered at CPH:DOX 2019. Her work was also exhibited at the National Gallery Zacheta in Poland. She had studied at the Polish National Film School in Lodz, Poland and the National Film and Television School in the UK. She has also taken part in programs such as TFL's Script&Pitch, CPH:LAB, European Short Pitch or Zurich Masterclass. Since 2016, she has also been teaching at the Lodz Film School as a screenwriting tutor.
