YORDAN PETKOV/ DIRECTOR Yordan Petkov is a writer and director based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He holds a Masters Degree in Film Directing at the Bulgarian National Academy of Film and Theatre Arts. His first short film, Auf Wiedersehen (2015) won the Best Live Action Short at the Warsaw IFF, and went on to be distributed in over 20 international territories. His second short, Night Shift (2020), premiered in competition in Clermont-Ferrand, and was acquired by Arte. In 2024, he completed principal photography of his debut feature, Resonance (BG/GR/TR, currently in post-production), which was developed within the framework of TorinoScriptLab and the Biennale College Cinema.
