The workshop combining cinema and sustainability welcomes 21 new participants from 6 different countries (France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey). Organised by TFL with Green Film – Trentino Film Commission, with the support of the Creative Europe – MEDIA Sub-programme of the European Union, and in collaboration with ACE Producers, EAVE, and Ecoprod, Green Film Lab promotes environmentally sustainable practices in film production and provides guidance on how to apply a green protocol and get certification.
TFL alumnus and producer Giovanni Pompili (Italy), Head of Studies of the programme, will run the sessions with three tutors with international experience: Norma Cuadros Gonzalez (Colombia), Dörte Schneider Garcia (Portugal/Germany) and Lucie Trémolières (France).
Moreover, the participants will have the opportunity to meet other local and European professionals who share the same interest for sustainability during the OPEN SESSION organised on Wednesday 21st October from 2:45 pm to 6:30 pm at Palazzo Barberini, one of the official venues of MIA. Here they will be involved in a series of talks on various aspects of sustainable filmmaking, such as the introduction by Giovanni Pompili on what it means to be a green producer, the one on the role of Sustainability Manager led by Norma Cuadros Gonzalez, the presentation of the Green Film Protocol by Linnea Merzagora, Green Film project manager and the case study curated by the naturalist and sustainability consultant Stefano Picchi.
(Participation is free of charge, for up to 20 people. Book your seat by sending an email to petit@museocinema.it before 18th October).
