TFL MEETING EVENT

TFL Meeting Event 2024: a very special 17th edition

In a blink of an eye will be, once again, the week leading to TorinoFilmLab’s co-production market.

The TFL Meeting Event will be held between 21st and  23rd November. What's in store for us in this edition?

Bigger, vibrant, and more exciting than ever: the Meeting Event will host for the very first time the pitching sessions of our 9 SeriesLab projects and the presentation of the 3 SeriesLab Story Editor trainees, together with the 4 ComedyLab titles, delivered on stage with the comedy writers / performers who worked with the scriptwriters along the way. As always, the schedule will include the final pitches of the 16 ScriptLab, 10 FeatureLab and 2 TFL Co-Production Fund projects, plus the session with the 4 ScriptLab Story Editor trainees.

More programmes come with more awards (and more committed Jury members of course). Listed here you can find the details about the prizes awarded by TFL: 4 Production Awards to the FeatureLab projects (up to 160,000 €), up to 2 SeriesLab Development Award (up to 20,000 €) and 1 ComedyLab Award (5,000 €). The Awards Ceremony will turn green while assigning the TFL White Mirror and the Green Filming Awards. Moreover, there will not be a Meeting Event without the invaluable collaboration of TorinoFilmLab international partners, assigning different contributions each year.

While we wait for the official kick-off of the market, you can browse and click on the index to easily navigate the TFL Catalogue published today and available digitally – all about our current participants is highlighted there.

The illustration you see on the cover has been realised by Laboratorio Zanzara, a social cooperative in Turin that helps people with mental health issues by developing their skills to create and sell quality work, it collaborates with educators and professionals and promotes creative expression and cultural integration. Our decision to work with them on the visual's brainstorming and design aligns with TFL's ongoing efforts to achieve the ISO 20121 certification for sustainable events, you can explore this topic further here.

Finally, TFL’s partner Torino Film Industry - the Turin-based event proposing a week of panels, workshops, masterclasses, pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings, in parallel with Torino Film Festival - will host the pitching sessions of our TFL Italia -Boost IT Lab projects: 4 international and 4 Italian titles with a great global potential.

17th edition, here we come.
