Screenwriter and Amsterdam native Jeroen Scholten van Aschat began his exploration of the human experience by studying clinical psychology at the University of Amsterdam. After graduating with honors, he translated his interests to the creative spectrum of film, training as a screenwriter at the Netherlands Film Academy. He graduated in 2015 with the short film JACK (A JOURNEY TO FULFILLMENT). After co-writing the award-winning ONNO THE OBLIVIOUS (2014), Jeroen went on to work in interactive storytelling (SWARTZSHIELD, 2015), short films (the Dutch submission for the Academy Awards: NIGHTSHADE by Shady El-Hamus, 2017), feature films (the soon-to-be-released NOCTURNE), and television (mini)series FENIX, directed by Shariff Korver, produced by Lemming Film (to be released).
