Dubravka Turić graduated in Film Editing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. She has edited more then thirty fiction, animated and experimental films, and worked as an assistant director and screenwriter on many projects.
BELLADONNA, her first short fiction as director, writer and editor, won the Orizzonti Award for Best Short film at Venice Film Festival 2015. The film was also in the official selection of Sundance, Rotterdam and many other festivals.
CHERRIES, her second short fiction, was premiered within Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes 2017. The film continues to be screened at festivals around the world and has won many awards.
TINA, her third short, has just started its festival tour after screening at the official selection of Sarajevo Film Festival 2019.
Dubravka is currently working on her debut feature film TRACES, which is now in the final phase of financing and will be shot in 2020. She is also developing her second feature film RHINO within TorinoFilmLab.
