Pablo Aparo was born in Buenos Aires in 1986. He graduated as Image and Sound Designer from Buenos Aires University. He studied Directing of Actors with Eloisa Tarruela, Lorena Vega and Alejandro Catalán. He co-wrote and directed the short film “Carmela” in 2007. He edited the short film “Las Sucias”, selected in the official competition of BAFICI 2010. In 2012 he co-wrote, co-directed, co-produced and edited his first feature documentary “The River People”, selected in DOK Leipzig, Guadalajara, BAFICI, LIMA, FIDOCS and got Best Film Mentions from DocsDF and Flande’s Latinamerican Film Festival. In 2013 he was part of CinergiaLAB Costa Rica with “The Dread”, his second documentary. It was premiered at BAFICI 201 and won Best Film at IDFA, Guadalajara, DocsBarcelona, Krakow, and others. He participated in Buenos Aires Talents 2019 with his feature film project called “Campo Chico”. He is currently working on new documentary projects.
