Svitlana Topor works as director and editor. She was born in 1984 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Studied directing at Wajda School (Warsaw, Poland) and Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema (Ukraine). In 2011 she was nominated for the Gaude Polonia Grant by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. She has also received the grant of the European Cultural Foundation. Svitlana has participated in numerous workshops and master-classes, incl. Locarno Summer Academy, Making Waves during Berlinale, classes of Werner Herzog, Sergei Loznitsa, Oliver Shutte, Volker Schlöndorff, Heidrun Schleef, Yuri Norstein, Barry Primus, Marcel Loziński and others. An experienced editor, Svitlana has also directed several short films, both documentary and fiction. Member of Polish Filmmakers Association.
