Born in Italy in 1984, Erica graduated at the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, after which she was awarded a Masters Degree in Film Production and Screenwriting. After an internship as the assistant to the Head of Production of Lux Vide, a TV-series production company in Rome, she joined Cattleya, a leading Italian company in Film and TV production, in 2008 and currently works there as Development Coordinator and Script Editor. Her expertise includes supervision and coordination of all development activities, script analysis on projects in development, evaluation of submitted scripts (mainly international projects), finding new talents and researching new trends in filmmaking and storytelling.
