Asa Riton

Filmmaker Åsa Riton’s vision is to merge art and film and bring it into new environments. Her visual language is unique, always exploring and pushing the boundaries of conventional media. She’s twisting popular culture, politics, philosophy and human nature into a world of her own.  After graduating from Central St Martins College of Art and Design and studying at the National Filmschool of Denmark, she has shown her work at the Gothenburg International Film Festival, Helsinki Short Film Festival, Kulturhuset Stockholm, Zeeuws National Museum in Holland and London Institute of Contemporary Arts.  She has directed science mockumentaries, video installations, music videos, short films and documentaries.
