Leonardo Staglianò is a writer and story editor. He holds an MA in Philosophy (Università di Firenze), an MA in Techniques of Narration (Scuola Holden, Turin) and an MFA in Dramatic Writing (Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, New York). His short stories have been published in various literary magazines, including the Italian edition of Granta, and his play "Cashmere, WA" won the Diego Fabbri Prize. He wrote the feature film "Yuri Esposito", which won the 1st Biennale College Cinema prize and debuted at the 70th Venice Film Festival. As a story editor, he worked for various film companies, organizations and institutions, including Nisi Masa, Le Groupe Ouest, Doha Film Institute and TFL as well. Currently, he is the Program Coordinator of the International College at Scuola Holden and he’s part of the team that develops new film and TV series projects at Sky Studios Italia.
