Laurette Schillings is one of the 3 producing partners at Topkapi Films, an Amsterdam based independent production company. Founded in 1994, it is dedicated to crafting original stories with creative integrity and commercial appeal by cultivating long-lasting relationships with both established and up-and-coming filmmakers. Productions includes series such as MUCKED UP, SANTOS, and CHILDHOOD DREAMS and feature films like HAPPY ENDING, GOODBYE STRANGER and PIECE OF MY HEART. In addition, we’ve been involved in coproductions like the Academy Award®-winning ANOTHER ROUND (DRUK), the Academy Award®-nominated and Festival de Cannes Grand Prix-winner CLOSE, and the Golden Lion-nominated HOLLY. Laurette is member of the ACE and EAVE network, EFA member and board member of The Netherlands Film Festival and Film Forward. Besides her work as producer, she is one of the founders of Film For Future, a foundation dedicated to making the film industry more sustainable.
