Monica Stan is a Romanian screenwriter with a background in psychology. Her filmography includes the shorts Down the Rabbit Hole, (Edinburgh International Film Festival, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and more), Little Red (Berlin Today Award competition, Berlinale 2011), Feel Sad for the Bunny (special mention at International Short Film Festival Leuven, 2015; Guanajuato International Film Festival 2016) and the feature Marussia (Berlinale 2013, Generation-section and others). She attended several feature film development programmes (Torino Film Lab, Script and Pitch 2011; Binger Film Lab, 2012; Venice Biennale College, 2014) and also participated in the Reykjavik Talent Laboratory 2009, the Sarajevo Talent Campus 2010, where she was also part of the Pack & Pitch program, and in the Berlinale Talent Campus 2011, as one of the talents in the Script Station.
