The David di Donatello are Italian cinematic awards, one of the most prestigious, and their final ceremony, happened last night, has been incredible.
VERMIGLIO by Maura Delpero was awarded with:

Best Production: Francesca Andreoli, Leonardo Guerra Seràgnoli, Santiago Fondevila Sancet, Maura Delpero for Cinedora, with Rai Cinema – in collaboration with Charades (co-production with France), Versus (co-production with Belgium)
Best Casting: Stefania Rodà, Maurilio Mangano
Best Cinematography: Mikhail Krichman
Best Sound: Dana Farzanehpour, Hervé Guyader, Emmanuel De Boissieu
The film, which premiered in Venice 81, winning the Silver Lion, it has been selected at Toronto FF and Busan FF, it was nominated at the Golden Globes and was one of the five titles competing for the Best International Feature Film award at the 2025 Oscars.
Maura Delpero previously joined the Lab in 2019, as winner of the TFL Audience Design Fund (45,000 €) with her first title Maternal.
